Sandy Water Color Guild Events 2012

Everyone is welcome at our monthly meetings on the third Thursday in the Sandy Senior Center cafeteria beginning at 6:30pm.

May 17^th: Demonstration by artist Maggie Harrison on Color Studies.

June 1-29:Guild Guild Group show….all members invited to display art

June 21^st: Local teacher Virginia Kimball will teach the Oriental Art of SUMI brush painting.

July: SUMMER VACATION…no club activities are planned.

August 16^th:British artist Ian Ramsay…..favorite teacher and gifted water-colorist ..will talk about his art and demonstrate his skills.

September 20^th:Sugar House Artist and teacher COLLEEN REYNOLDS will demonstrate portrait painting.

October 18^th: UTRECHT Night….local art store brings representatives of various ART suppliers to demonstrate new products and techniques.

November 15^th:Springville artist Gaila Fairbanks demonstrates loosening up techniques based on the book The TAO of WATER COLOR by Jean Carbonetti.
